Aphrodite Azure Faerie Queen Crown
Aphrodite Azure Faerie Queen Crown

Aphrodite is the goddess of beauty and love, born from the ocean.
Any land locked mermfolk or sea sirens would feel right at home in this crown of silver and oceanic blues.
A silver colored crown (unlike the brass crowns this silver was painted on, as that is how I received it) features the 5 inch Aphrodite wings on the sides and the smaller version on front, all painted in teal and deep blues with bright silver veins.
Swarovski crystals are scattered on the wings and decorate the front of the crown, with a giant iridescent magenta and blue cabachon in the center.
Silver and iridescent blue beaded chains hang from each side, ending with blue crystal drops.
The silver painted steel crown is cut like lacy filigree.
The metal crown is originally designed by Alessio Benetti.
See what they looked like before my alterations, and learn more about this story in my blog post about the crowns here:

*This crown is painted silver, and I am not sure how durable the finish is so please treat it with care. There may be some very minor scratches on areas that were altered.
AB acrylic jewels decorate the base of the wings and center front, with iridescent Swarovski crystals on the wings and front of the crown.
The extra large glass cabachon in front is a saphire blue with flashes of magenta.
Comes with ribbon at each side that can tie behind your head. They are removable as well in case you want to try your own attachment methods.
As always the wing designs are my own, created from scratch from my original designs. The little wing vein frame work is cut off-site from my original art files, from a thin sheet of brass, and then digitally hand painted and then laminated in the usual way with iridescent film and vinyl by me.
Please allow 1-3 business days to fulfill your order, and due to the coronavirus pandemic it's possible there might be delays.
I value our safety and yours, so my hands are frequently washed and tools sanitized, and we we operate on fairly strict safety measures in our own lives hardly leaving home unless absolutely needed, and in those cases we have N95 masks we already owned.
Although the CDC says virus transfer is less likely from surfaces, it could still be a risk so you might want to wait a day or so before opening your package if you're concerned.
It's always possible I've missed something though and these crowns are not easy to clean - cloth likes to get stuck in all the detailed cuts.
Time, however, is a pretty good way to let any virus material die.
If you need your order expedited, please either include a note with your order or email me right after to let me know the date they are needed. Additional fees may apply for rushed orders. Orders are shipped via US Postal Priority Mail with insurance and tracking unless otherwise requested, which usually takes between 2 to 3 days for delivery. International orders can take a week or more, depending on how quickly customs clears the package. Again, delivery times may be extended due to the pandemic and I don't have much control over it once it leaves my possession.
As with all my items, since they are hand made and considered special occasion items, returns are not allowed except in the case of damage or defect. If that's the case I must be notified right away, all packaging must be kept and photographed and a damage claim must be filed with the carrier.
