Ellette / Salome Hybrid Iridescent Fairy Wings in Clear Diamond Fire with Gold veins

A new late style from the 2016 Summer Platinum Edition, the Ellette fairy wings. This alternative version is paired with the bottom panels from the Salome wings for a triple layered set. These were done in iridescent clear Diamond Fire film with gold veins, measuring 41 inches wide. Inspired loosely by wasp and bee wings, they look as if they could belong to a real insect but are in fact a fantasy design.  

They are constructed of three separate upper and lower panels, layered for a more realistic look and are more easily posed by gently bending the panels at the angle you wish. I've changed the design slightly to angle the upper and lower panels so they are a tad further apart as it looks more balanced to me this way.

The frame is constructed of a .040" thick cut aluminum sheet that has been painted black for the veins, and laminated with an iridescent film and clear vinyl.
