Extra Giant Kira Iridescent Fairy Wings in Lilac with Black Veins

The Kira wing style, inspired by Kira the gelfling from the Dark Crystal, was worn by both Eniko Mihalik and Barbara Fialho in the 2014 Victoria's Secret Fashion show. This is the size Eniko wore, the largest I have ever made, however this version has the antennae clipped off as they were cut from .050" aluminum rather than the even thicker metal I would usually use for this size. Removing the antennae helps in making them less floppy, though I still would not advise using these in high winds or  with a lot of physical activity. Since they are almost too big for my photo area I don't have a side view of these but if you want a better idea of the shape, just watch the 2014 show ;)

They are made as separate upper and lower panels for the most flexibility in posing and to get a more realistic layered look, and cut from .050" thick aluminum. 

They can be posed by gently bending the panels at the angle you wish, due to the size and thickness I suggest doing any bending before assembly.

They will be shipped unassembled for safer shipping, as well as easier storage. I will include a back brace and a special tape in a color that matches roughly with the vein color that adheres only to itself so that you can easily assemble them and then unassemble them again for storage without taking up as much space. If you have any latex or rubber allergies however, do let me know and I can either assemble them for you with the regular vinyl tape or send that along instead of the self adhering tape.
