One of my favorite designs from the 2016 Summer Platinum Edition, the Salome fairy wings, painted digitally by hand to look like a scene from deep space where nebulae and newborn stars are forming. For the first time, I'm making this a set with matching winged hair combs.
The veining is silver chrome and the edges of the upper panels are gilded with marbled gold metal leaf and filigree accents, plus lots of Swarovski crystals decorating the front✨
Any that are on the film are transparent, so they also sparkle from the back, but the filigree tips are on both sides.
The back is not painted, but is transparent so the painting in front can still be seen at some angles. It's also the most iridescent, like a blue Morpho 🦋
The painted layer has been laminated to the Aquamarine iridescent film base, giving it a beautiful blue green shine.
The winged hair combs are the same wings in miniature, minus the metal leaf edges but with detailed brass filigree tips and a variety of iridescent Swarovski crystals. The veined frames are cut from thin nickel silver, and this set has a double layer of smaller wings on each side for a really full look, and silver ball tipped wires form antennae emerging from the antique silver oval setting, which features an iridescent purple cabochon. Comes with two combs, a left and a right. The larger wing on the combs is roughly 5 inches wide, the smaller ones about 3 3/4".
The wings measure about 39 inches wide roughly at the widest point and are constructed of two separate upper and lower panels, layered slightly for a more realistic look and are more easily posed by gently bending the panels at the angle you wish.
The frame is constructed of a .040" thick cut aluminum sheet that has been powder coated, and laminated with an iridescent film and clear vinyl.

This is a hand made product, so small imperfections like asymmetry, bubbles and wrinkles are normal.
No returns or refunds except in the case of defect or damage. If damaged in delivery, contact me asap in order to file a damage claim.
