Originally created for my Second Life™ virtual store, this design now comes to life in the real world, this time with veins that glow a bright aqua in the dark! They measure 35 1/2 inches wide and have a wickedly thorny appearance with a swirly antennae on bottom to soften them up. These are done in the iridescent Lilac film, and the veins look off-white in the light. Just charge them in bright sunlight or artificial light for about 10 to 15 minutes for the longest lasting glow.
The frame is constructed of a .040" thick cut aluminum sheet that has been powder coated, hand painted over with glow in the dark pigment and laminated with an iridescent film and clear vinyl. All wings come with clear elastic for straps and can be worn over the shoulders like most wings, or they can simply be tucked into the back of any snug fitting bra strap, corset or bodice.
They can be gently bent and posed to give them an even more life-like appearance!
