Flapping Fairy Wing Mechanism Pre-assembled in Magenta Purple Ombre Iridescent with Black Back Plate

These flapping fairy wing mechanisms are made to work with my standard sized Ethereal Collection wing panels. You might be able to make other wings work with it but I can’t guarantee it. In the future we may add a different servo attachment that will work more universally.

*It may work best without the antennae or 'tails' that some 6 panel wings come with, as the thinner antennae & tails may wiggle with movement.

This mechanism cover has been printed with a gradient or ombre of magenta fading to purple, then sanded and painted with a subtle color shift paint in light  purple / green and clear coat. The back plate is black.

Unlike previous versions, this requires no assembly by the customer, except for attaching your wing panels to it and attaching the metal back brace for strapless wearing, if you choose to wear it without straps.

Includes a battery / power pack and a raw un-sanded back brace for strapless wearing, you'll need to sand this to remove any rough or sharp edges if you decide to use it.

Hardware is included but you will need some basic tools such as a set of small metric hex drivers / or Allen wrenches and pliers.

*Don't leave the mechanism in excess heat, such as a hot car on a very hot day, as the PLA is a thermoplastic and may warp a bit in high heat.

The weight of the mechanism is about 10 oz

The 3D printed pieces may have some slight imperfections such as tiny pock marks or rougher patches along areas that are more complex to print. 

The material is PLA, which can be sanded, primed and painted. Super glues should work well if you want to attach decorative elements to the cover.

International orders have usually been shipped via US Postal Express, however due to excess delays up to a month for international Express shipments, UPS may be used as it has not had the same issue with delays.

Any issue with a damaged or lost package must be reported to me immediately. Keep all packaging and take photos of any damage should it occur and we will file a damage / loss claim.

Return or exchange is not accepted unless the item is damaged in transit (see above regarding claims) or is somehow defective, in which case we will fix or replace the defective piece(s).
