The officially licensed fairy wings based on Amy Brown's classic painting, The Bubble Rider. These are made with a Satin White iridescent film that has been hand painted in an iris inspired flower palette of lavender streaking in from the edges, and green mottled near the base. This set features the new metallic green veining. Measuring roughly 41 inches wide and 36 inches tall, this is a very impressive and full wing span that really should be considered an extra large size rather than a standard large. The Bubble Riders are composed of separate upper and lower wing panels for more flexibility in posing, and gives them a more layered appearance. Unlike the previous sets I've sold cut from .040" thick aluminum, these wing frames are constructed of a stronger .050" thick cut aluminum sheet. The cut aluminum frames are powder coated, and laminated with an iridescent film and clear vinyl.
They are flexible and can also be bent to the angle of your liking. A 'U' shaped back brace makes wearing them a breeze just by tucking them into the back of a snug corset or bodice. If you are not wearing something that allows for tucking, they come with clear elastic straps so you can wear them like a backpack.
