From the 2016 Summer Platinum Edition, the Salome fairy wings painted up in a butterfly-eque pattern of greens with areas of the Lilac iridescent film showing through and purplish colored 'eyes'. I paint them digitally, by hand with a Wacom tablet after studying various butterfly and insect wings for inspiration.
They have been previously worn by me a few times but are still in great condition, and they are discounted.
Since they were first made to attach to the flapping wing device, they aren't attached to the old U brace style but also aren't exactly the same as the new convertible wings, however they work as convertible wings with the brace and hardware included!
The U brace for these is silver chrome instead of gold so it doesn't match as they usually would, but I'll be adding a raw metal one (unsanded) if you want to paint & finish that one yourself.
The holes in the base of the wing panels don't match the placement of the holes in the new Ethereal Collection braces, but they can be attached using the rubber washer attachment using only one screw on each side that allows them to be rotated into the positions you choose.
You could drill your own additional holes in either the brace or wing panels, at your own risk if you want to be able to use the static hardware attachment. I'll include the description for both in case you choose to do that. These wings will ship to you as-is, know that the panels bases where they attach aren't as smooth and perfect but no one would ever know if you use faux flowers to hide the hardware attachments. I included a closeup photo where I thought there may be any small defects that should be shown such as a small crescent shaped blister and a couple small creases near the base.
These measure about 39 inches wide roughly at the widest point and are constructed of two separate upper and lower panels, layered slightly for a more realistic look and are more easily posed by gently bending the panels at the angle you wish.
The frame is constructed of a .040" thick cut aluminum sheet that has been powder coated with a gold color for the veins, and laminated with an iridescent film and clear vinyl.
*Simple assembly required (standard assembly works only if you drill extra hole)
Panels attach with included standard screw bolts and nuts. The upper screw is finished on the outer side with a domed acorn nut, which looks like a flower stamen if flowers are attached to hide the hardware.
I will leave the flowers up to the customer for the meantime, so you can match your outfit. I just use faux flowers torn off from the plastic stem & punched an 1/8" hole to go over the screw. Then, screw the acorn cap on.
See previous Ethereal Collection convertible wings to see how faux flowers would be attached.
You can wear your wings in resting position by removing the bottom screw if you find yourself in a packed crowd. I suggest removing it while the wings are off due to the small parts - a magnet may be helpful for catching the bolt after removal and a small wrench and / or screw driver may come in handy.
Alternatively they can now be assembled with included rubber washers to make them fully adjustable - just grab the panel you want to move and rotate it into position, no un-screwing needed!!
You can watch an assembly tutorial here: https://youtu.be/H9NoLwIabDM
The wing panels can be removed for easy transport, or to change up the look by removing or swapping the antennae, upper panel, and lower panels.
They can be worn either by tucking them into the back of any very snug & sturdy bodice or corset, or by attaching your own ribbon or elastic by slipping it through the slots on the back brace.
Unfortunately due to the pandemic, I've had issues accessing the clear elastic they used to come with, however since I've increased the detail and therefore the weight slightly you may want to use something stronger than clear elastic anyway.

Please allow 1-3 business days or more to process and ship out your order, possibly more if there are any unexpected difficulties brought about by the covid pandemic or government insurrection. It's surreal especially that I have to add that second reason but here we are!
If you have a deadline, please let me know so I can confirm it can be met, keeping in mind the above warning. All orders are shipped via USPS priority mail with insurance, and (usually, when there isn't gvt interference in the postal service equipment) take 2 to 3 days to arrive once shipped unless Express shipping is purchased. International orders are shipped USPS International Priority Express, and those have unfortunately been taking much longer than normal.
Also due to the new Brexit laws around UK shipping, I will not be able to ship to the UK until I figure out all the changes I need to make on my end, I apologize.
No returns or exchanges except in the case of serious defect, lost package or damage upon shipping. If you receive a damaged shipment or it appears lost, contact me asap and keep all packaging if damaged so a claim can be filed.
Small imperfections such as bubbles, wrinkles, etc. are normal as these are hand made products.
