Vivienne 3 and 1/2 inch "Blue Orchid" Fairy Wing Hair Combs with Silver Veins

This set of 2 mini painted Vivienne fairy wings have been crafted into a set of two brass combs to wear in your hair, a left and a right comb. These include 1 additional wing panel so there are 3 on each comb.

They are probably more decorative than functional, so they work best with some of your hair already pulled back with a stronger hair accessory if you have very fine hair, and then added for decoration. Wigs are great, because the combs can grab the netting underneath.

These have been digitally hand painted with my original "Blue Orchid" pattern and applied to iridescent film, the veined frame is made of nickel silver that is .010" thick. Swarovski crystals accent the wings, and the oval setting on the comb base features a dark iridescent green/blue/orange resin cabochon.
Each upper panel measures roughly 3.5 inches from the base to the tip.  

As always the wing designs are my own, created from scratch from my original designs. The little wing vein frame work is cut from a thin sheet of brass, and the film is digitally hand painted and then laminated in the usual way with iridescent film and vinyl.

I value our safety and yours, so my hands are frequently washed and we operate on fairly strict safety measures in our own lives hardly leaving home unless absolutely needed, and in those cases we have N95 masks we already owned.

Although the CDC says virus transfer is less likely from surfaces, it could still be a risk so you might want to wait a day or so before opening your package if you're concerned.

Time is a pretty good way to let any virus material die.

If you need your order expedited or need to use a different carrier than USPS, please either include a note with your order or email me right after to let me know. Additional fees may apply for rushed orders.  Orders are shipped via US Postal Priority Mail with insurance and tracking unless otherwise requested, which usually takes between 2 to 3 days for delivery. International orders can take a week or more, depending on how quickly customs clears the package. Again, delivery times may be extended due to the pandemic and I don't have much control over it once it leaves my possession.

As with all my items, since they are hand made and considered special occasion items, returns are not allowed except in the case of damage or defect. If that's the case I must be notified right away, all packaging must be kept and photographed and a damage claim must be filed with the carrier.

Small bubbles or wrinkles are a natural occurrence due to the hand made nature of this product and are not considered a defect.
